Excellent. Saw you on Hit & Run.

Excellent. Please consider adding coyote blog to the libertarian aggregate. I consider myself a fairly hard-core libertarian voice.

The RSS feed is http://feeds.feedburner.com/CoyoteBlog

Your aggregator is a great idea! You should add the Cato Institute's blog - http://www.cato-at-liberty.org/

Great idea - I'd love to be considered for your aggregator. My blogs feed, (Life, Liberty and the Pursuit Of...), is here (http://feeds.feedburner.com/LifeLibertyAndThePursuitOf)

A Stitch in Haste is also very good (kipesquire.com)

There's the site I edit: www.bureaucrash.com and another favorite: www.tothepeople.com

Many of the other suggestions are daily reads for me.

I have a new blog called North Carolina Civil Rights and Constitutional Law. You will note the libertarian bent, including links to Cato, Reason, et al. Thanks!

http://twkerner.typepad.com/north_carolina_civil_righ/

Anonymous said...

Thanks for adding me. Can someone help though? Apparently this site is picking up the wrong feed -- I have two blogs, and for some reason, the feed for the other blog is coming through here, instead of the feed for the blog I wanted to feed here. Any ideas how this happened? Still new to blogging so any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Anonymous said...

I may have answered my own question. This should be the correct feed. Many thanks!

Jeff Day said...

Thomas,

Is it looking alright now? I changed it over to pull from your Feedburner feed, but the articles listed seem the same to me... Let me know if this is correct.

Jeff Day said...

Mark,

Thanks for your suggestions. I've added them to the list, but I'm now looking for feedback on whether having the British and American blogs together is the best solution for everyone. If it is, then good... There are other possibilities such as marking the posts with an icon to easily tell whether it is British or American, or even making separate aggregator lists for the two, but I want to get reader feedback before making any decisions on this.

Bill said...

Hi,

Thanks for including my little blog in your aggregator for 'libertarian' blogs. I'm putting a link to the aggregator in my links area for aggregators in my blog.

As for mixing-up or separating US/UK (and other nationalities?) personally I think they should be left together, although if it is technically feasible putting a little flag against the name might be useful (as well as attractive).

A French-language blog that is certainly 'libertarian' in nature, written by some French-speaking Swiss one of whom lives in London I understand, the other in Geneva I think - it is written in pretty complex French though, so may be too 'obscure' for most English-speakers. The link is:
http://www.swissroll.info/

Kind regards, Bill

Eric Dondero said...

For Mainstream libertarians in the US at www.mainstreamlibertarian.com

Covers politics, culture and entertainment from a rational libertarian perspective.

Gunner said...

I would recommend a small US or English flag by the post entries. If to complex, a small US, or UK next to them.

Jeff Day said...

Bill and Gunner, your suggestions to put flags next to the names have now been implemented. Thank you.

If anyone notices any mismatched flags let me know - I had to assign them very rapidly and there is a good possibility of at least a couple mistakes.

Jeff Day said...

Ray, thanks. I've added it!

The Unknown Blogger said...

Just an FYI, I had to alter your HTML code to get it work with the new Blogger layout.

This is the altered version which seems to work: Altered to allow this post (<) and (>)instead of <> where applicable.
(<)img border="0"
alt="Libertarian Blogs"
src="http://www.libertarian.zebby.org/sticker-mini-libertarian.png" title=""/>

Basically I replaced "style="border: 0px none; vertical-align: bottom" title="" with "(<)img border="0""

Code is not my thing, so I may have missed something. But until I made the change, Blogger wouldn't accept it, now I have the button, and it links to your site.

If you want to test it, my site is www.hydrablog.blogspot.com

Thank you for running the aggregator, it's been a real boost to my site.

Why does talk radio insist on trumpeting the Rush Limbaugh Show as the paragon of "broadcasting excellence."

As a fiscal conservative, I on occasion tune in to the show, hoping against hope to hear something of substance. But no; all I get is the same yuk-yuking, name-calling, voice mimicking, tortured statistics, non-sequiturs, shifting thoughts in mid-sentence, putting words in people's mouths, staged phone calls from fawning listeners, mistaken predictions, lies couched in half-truths, mind-numbing blustering—in short, nothing but drivel.

Limbaugh's crude satire of the liberal establishment might have at one time been justified and entertaining, but now it's an embarrassment. That a first-year drop-out from a minor college, a beer vendor, a pill addict, draft-dodger (claimed he had a boil on his anus), and a consummate buffoon came to be embraced as the guru of the conservative movement in America is cause for alarm.
